OAIC The mission of the JHU OAIC is to provide a hypothesis-driven, frailty-focused, highly interdisciplinary center where supported investigators receive the expertise, resources, and training necessary to make fundamental discoveries related to the origins and causes of frailty and then move these discoveries towards frailty-focused interventions.
JHCAH The Center on Aging and Health (COAH) was established in 1998 as a center of excellence for aging research at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. It is sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Schools of Medicine and Public Health. Other core partners include the School of Nursing and the departments of Medicine, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Policy and Management, and Mental Health.
