Frailty Science.org is a multi-institutional team of academic researchers and clinicians invested in the study and translation of frailty.
Our Sponsor:  The Johns Hopkins Older Americans Independence Center
Since its inception in 2003, the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center (OAIC) has served an intellectual hub for innovative research on frailty.  The mission of the JHU OAIC is to provide a hypothesis-driven, frailty-focused, highly interdisciplinary center where supported investigators receive the expertise, resources, and training necessary to make fundamental discoveries related to the origins and causes of frailty.   In addition, OAIC supported faculty seek to improve frailty detection strategies, and to develop frailty-focused interventions or preventive strategies.  Please click here to learn more about the OAIC.
