- The Frailty Seminar Series (promoted by the EUGMS) features monthly presentations by frailty experts on evidence-base practices and research advances related to frailty. The intended audience is health care professionals, researchers, policy experts, and trainees. Occurs the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12-1pm, through July 2022. - Frailty Science researchers from Johns Hopkins University and the University of Chicago lead a Pre-Conference Workshop on “Moving Frailty Into Clinical Practice: Successes, Challenges, and Lesson Learned Across Specialties” at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Gerontological Society of America. This workshop provides insights based on rigorous research and clinical experiences into the following core topics: 1) state-of-the-art knowledge on definitions of frailty, the epidemiology and biology of frailty, and potential interventions; 2) progress-to-date in implementing frailty assessment into clinical settings; 3) integrating frailty in your own research and clinical work; 4) gaps where a fuller evidence base is needed.
